Founded in 1929, Hitschler is one of the oldest candy companies in Germany, and although the name is not as well-known as Haribo you most likely had some of their iconic sweets like “Schnüre”, “Hitschie’s”, or “Brause Flummies” if you grew up in Germany.
We had the opportunity to speak to Niki Wente, the viticultural manager and upcoming wine host of a AmaWaterways cruise.
